Qrova: QR Scanner & Generator - Privacy Policy

App ID: com.qrova.app · Developer: Tube algo · Effective date: 15 September 2026

Qrova lets you scan QR codes and create your own. This policy explains what information the app uses, what stays on your phone, and what is shared with our advertising partner, Google AdMob. In short: what you scan and create stays on your phone. The only data that leaves your phone is what the Google AdMob advertising service collects to show ads.

1. Camera

The app asks for camera permission so it can scan QR codes. Camera frames are processed on your phone to find and read a QR code. Frames are not saved, not recorded and never uploaded. You can turn the permission off at any time in Android Settings; you can still scan codes from a photo.

2. Photos you choose to scan

If you use "Scan from a photo", Android's photo picker gives the app only the single image you pick. The image is read on your phone to find a QR code and is not stored or uploaded.

3. Scan history and settings

Codes you scan, and codes you save or share from the Create screen, are kept in a history list stored only in the app's private storage on your phone. This can include text inside a code, such as a link, a payment ID or a WiFi password. It is never sent to us or anyone else, and it is excluded from Android cloud backup and device-to-device transfer. You can delete single items, clear the whole list, or turn history off in the History tab. Uninstalling the app deletes it all.

4. Actions that use other apps

When you tap an action such as Open link, Pay with a payment app, Call, Send SMS, Save contact, Connect to WiFi, Save image or Share, the app hands that information to the Android system or to the app you choose (for example your browser, payment app, contacts app or a messaging app). What those apps do with it is covered by their own privacy policies. Qrova does not read your contacts, messages or WiFi networks.

5. Advertising (Google AdMob)

Qrova is free and shows ads provided by Google AdMob. To deliver and measure ads and to prevent fraud, the Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect and share the following information from your device:

DataPurpose
Device identifiers, such as the Android Advertising IDAdvertising, analytics, fraud prevention
IP address and approximate location derived from itAdvertising, fraud prevention
Ad interactions (for example ad views and taps) and app diagnostics (for example crash and performance data)Advertising, analytics, fraud prevention

This data is sent encrypted to Google. It does not include your scan history, the content of your QR codes or camera images. Where the law requires consent (for example in the EEA, UK and Switzerland), the app asks for your choice before ads are personalised, and you can change it later from History › Privacy & ad choices.

You can reset or delete your Advertising ID, or opt out of personalised ads, in Android Settings › Google › Ads (or Settings › Privacy › Ads). Learn how Google uses data: How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.
